Ranthambore National Park is one of India's most popular wildlife parks and the country's premier tiger reserve for tiger conservation. The park is widely regarded for its expanding population of endangered tigers and is known for providing the best opportunities to see the gorgeous wild tigers. For wildlife aficionados from all over the world, the jungle tour that the park authority organises in this park is the safari of a lifetime.

The two types of forest safaris that are permitted for visitors to see the Ranthambore forest's stunning flora and fauna are the Jeep Safari and the Canter Safari. To experience the thrill of being in the natural habitat of the hazardous forest predators like Royal Bengal Tigers, Jungle Cats, Leopards, and Striped Hyenas, millions and millions of wildlife and nature enthusiasts used to travel to Ranthambore and take a Canter Safari or Jeep Safari. The main draw of the Ranthambore jungle is the chance to see these predators up close and personal, notably the beautiful Tiger.

The Ranthambore National Park's park authority is the only entity in charge of managing the jungle safari. Canter and Jeep are the only forms of safari vehicles that are permitted in the park. The Canter is a 20-seater bus with open sides on all sides for the best possible sight. Two shifts—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—are used to organise the Canter Safari. A total of 40 Canters may enter the park for the safari in a day because 20 Canters are permitted to transport passengers there in one shift. When it comes to viewing animals, the Canter safari is just as comfortable as the Jeep, and occasionally even more so because you can see farther from a Canter than you can from a Jeep. There aren't many differences between the Canter Safari and Jeep Safari aside from the number of tourists in each vehicle because both safaris last the same amount of time inside the park.
